Gift Acceptance Policy
- NW Fruit accepts only monetary donations by check unless otherwise arranged. No Real Property, Securities, Personal Property, Vouchers or Discounts are accepted unless reviewed in advance and accepted by NW Fruit Board of Directors.
- NW Fruit solicits and accepts monetary gifts that are legal and consistent with its mission and supports its core program that do not place unreasonable requirements on the organization. NW Fruit promotes and supports research on fruit growing in Western Washington, provides education and demonstrates to its members and the community how to grow healthy fruit in Western Washington. NW Fruit volunteers maintain the Fruit Garden at WSU Mount Vernon.
- Monetary donations are accepted from individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations and foundations.
- Monetary gifts are subject to review by the NW Fruit, Board of Directors and legal counsel.
