Early Golden

(E1, Q1 planted 2015) A medium sized round yellow plum with a red blush and golden flesh. It ripens a heavy crop of delicious sweet juicy fruit that has a hint of apricot flavor. One of the first to ripen, it ripens two weeks before Shiro. A vigorous tree and a heavy bearer. Good for making jams, liquors or free eating. Self fertile.

Hollywood

(W4, D17 planted 2022) If you want to grow a beautiful red leafed ornamental tree that is also loaded with delicious fruit, Hollywood is for you. The self fertile trees grows about 12 feet tall and is disease resistant, loaded with showy light pink blossoms. . In August it produces large tasty roundish red plums with a deep red flesh. They make a beautiful tasty jelly.

Methley

(W5, J 25 planted 2003) Every year in July before any other tree fruit is ripe, the strong spreading tree carries a large load of sweet medium sized red/purple plums. They ripen over ten days and don’t keep, so eat your fill and then make delicious jelly or desserts. It is an Asian and American plum hybrid and self fertile.

Obilnaja

(E1, S1 planted 2015) A cross of Japanese and Myrobalan plums. It comes from Yalta in Russia on the Black sea. Partially self fertile. It produces a heavy crop of

medium size firm red plums with excellent flavor and yellow/pink flesh. It ripens in early August. For best fruit set choose a Japanese plum as a pollinizer.

Shiro

(W4, H 20 planted 2009)and (W5 L24 planted 2003) A large round bright yellow plum with sweet very juicy flesh that squirts out when you take a bite. Shiro is good for fresh eating and making preserves. It ripens in mid August and is partially self fertile. It is very heavy setting and reliable.

Sprite

(W4, E17 planted 2025) Sprite produces large amounts of tasty fruit each year. The small round plums are sweet, freestone with purple black skin and yellow flesh. The tree produces in August for several weeks. It is a Myrobalan and Japanese cross. Pollenize with another Japanese plum.
